This recipe is ridiculously simple and extremely good for you. Low carb and high protein makes this recipe a great start to the day.
What you’ll need:
2 scoops of Fuego Strawberry Coconut Crème Protein
1 teaspoon of baking powder
1/3 cup of milk, I prefer Fairlife
To begin, mix all the ingredients in a bowl with a spoon or whisk until the batter is pourable. Take a skillet and warm it on medium to high heat. For each pancake, you’ll either want to use butter or a pam alternative to keep each pancake from sticking. If you use butter you’ll end up using less than a tablespoon and it gives it a little extra flavor.
Grease the pan with your choice of butter or pam and then pour some batter into the pan. Flip when you notice the bubbles in the batter are popping. This batter is a bit sticky so try to have a perfect flip for even cooking.
Add some sliced strawberries and bananas on top, or your choice of fruit. Also optional, you can add syrup if your diet allows for it.
And there you go, quick and easy. This batter made 5 pancakes for me, making each pancake just 86 calories with 13g of protein and just 2g of carbs and less than 1g of fat. Adding fruit and syrup may change those numbers, but all in all this recipe is a ridiculously healthy spin on pancakes.
